2025 Marks Our 35th Year

Anniversary $35 Month Special

In the summer of 1990, at the young age of 25, I embarked on an impossible dream of owning my own martial arts dojo. During these 35 years, through determination and lessons learnt, I am excited to reach this important milestone.

To celebrate, between January 1st, 2025 and July 10, 2025 anyone can add an extra month to their membership for just $35. This is a one time offer available only to active members. It is Sensei’s way of saying thank you. This special must be done only through Sensei and is not available online. In addition, stay tuned for an event celebration on July 13th, 2025.    

Markham City Open

Saturday, January 11th, 2025 marks the date for our annual fundraising tournament. Markham City Open Karate and Kobudo Tournament is now in January and a part of the Amateur Karate Circuit (AKC). Participation does not require Karate Ontario membership but the goal is to give athletes valuable experience to prepare them for Karate Ontario elite events. Please see this as a wonderful opportunity. If interested, please reply to the email and you will be put in contact with our Team Manager, Jessica.

January 2: 5PM to 6PM Kata training for recreational athletes competing in MCO
January 2: 6PM to 7PM Kumite training for recreational athletes competing in MCO
January 3: Individual Training for Sport Karate Team members
January 3: 5:00PM to 7:30PM Drop Kata Training with Invited Clubs
January 4: Deadline for MCO Registration (Dojo deadline is January 3, 2025)
January 5: Provincial Team Training at NOX Dojo
January 6: Dojo Reopens
January 8: Drop in Kumite Training w/Toronto Wado Club
January 11: Markham City Open Tournament
January 17, 18, 19: Olympic Champion Seminar - All Classes Cancelled

No March Break Camp

To accommodate the early National Championships, our March Break Camp slot will be used for training our elite athletes heading to Richmond, BC in April. Summer Camps are still planned for July and August.
