Pan-Ams…Here We Come!

Congratulations to Club Seiryu, NOX Dojo’s sport karate team. This year, 10 athletes entered the national stage in Laval, Quebec for Karate Canada’s National Karate Championships. Since 2024 is a World Championship qualifying year. we prepared our athletes for the difficult challenge. For further preparation for Pan Am Championships in Brazil and eventually, the Worlds, this year NOX Dojo is hosting a series of camps throughout the 5 weeks before Brazil. Please see the schedule below.

• Week of July 15: Mon, Tue, Thu 9:00 AM to 12 Noon = Heart Rate Evaluation, Kata Gap Identification, Strength and Conditioning Routine

• Week of July 22: Mon, Tue, Thu 9:00 AM to 12 Noon = Kata Skills and Tactics

• Week of July 29: Mon, Tue, Wed 9:00AM to 12 Noon = Speed Exercises and Rhythm

• Week of Aug 5: Wed, Thu, Fri 9:00AM to 12 Noon = Kata Overload (Stress Simulation and how to deal with it)

• Week of Aug 12: Mon, Tue, Wed 9:00 to 12 Noon = Heart Rate Re-Evaluation, Kata Gap Progress Review

These camps are open to all Elite athletes of Club Seiryu or athletes who have medalled at the 2024 KC Nationals.

Cost: $175/week for non-Club Seiryu members.
For Club Seiryu members, it is included in your annual team training fee (Elite).
