Kenjitsu – Japanese Sword

Want to tone up fast? Try Kenjitsu! Wielding a weighted sword tones muscles fast and develops superb hand/eye coordination.

It has been said that the soul of Japan can be found in the Katana (Japanese Sword). Kenjitsu/Iaido are the arts of the Samurai Sword. Kenjitsu uses the wooden sword to practice combat and Iaido is the art of drawing the sword. When you join our sword program you learn how to use the sword, naginata (glaive) and and yari (spear).

The history of Mugen Ryu goes back hundreds of years to when the Samurai sect was first formed. We are very fortunate to be the first school outside of Japan to teach it.
