Please visit us on August 17th, 2008 at the Main Street – Markham Jazz Festival for a Karate demonstration of Canada’s best Karate Kata Team. See some of Canada’s top Karate athletes perform as they prepare to represent Canada at the Jr. Pan American Karate Championships. Demonstrations are free as well as mini Karate classes all day.
Become Main St – Markham’s first ever board breaking champion and help raise funds to help the team cover travel expenses to Santiago, Chile this September. Trophy and cash prizes will be awarded.
Raffle Tickets will also be on sale for chance to win a Laptop Computer or Flat Screen TV. Winners will be posted here on August 18th and published in Snap Markham.
